Yellowtail Dascyllus

The Yellowtail Dascyllus is a popular fish among beginning hobbyists because of its ability to tolerate substandard water parameters. As a juvenile, this fish is a striking black with a bright yellow tail that may slightly fade as the fish grows older.

A 30 gallon or larger aquarium is ideal. Use caution if housing with other timid species, as the Yellowtail Dascyllus may become quite aggressive.

The diet should include various meaty foods, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
