It keeps aquarium water biologically and chemically balanced, and it stabilizes pH and alkalinity, reduces phosphate, and adds vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It is designed for use with aquariums that have proper filtration and normal fish loads. Supplies a continuous buffer that prevents pH decline that occurs in aquariums over time due to the natural acidification created during the nitrification cycle. Removes phosphate from tap water and prevents its accumulation as a byproduct of protein digestion of fish foods. Add 1 tsp (5 ml) per 5 gallons of water. Repeat weekly. 500 ml treats 500 gallons.
