Coral Beauty Pygmy Angel Coral Beauties have orange-red flanks that are vertically crossed by thin purple-blue lines. The heas and fins are also purple-blue. The pattern formed over the flanks is highly variable. Coral Beauties are generally peaceful toward other fish, but not to others of their species.
They need plenty of hiding places to feel comfortable. They are generally well behaved in reef aquariums. Coral Beauties are grazers that do best on a diet of frozen meaty foods and greenstuffs. If you attempt to place other pygmy angels in the same system, it is best to add not only a different species, but a species with little to no physical similarities to avoid conflicts. |
