Measure the base cabinets in your kitchen with a tape measure. Transferring these measurements to 3/4 inch thick plywood sheet with a pencil. Add 1 1/2 inch of each overhang on the bench top and about 1/2 inch overhang butt against appliances. Cut plywood with a circular saw. Screw the plywood base cabinets with a screwdriver and screws. Transfer the same dimensions used for the plywood on the back of formica white laminate tarpaulin. Make measurements about 1/2 inches wider than the original measurements for trimming.
